We are excited about the team that God has brought together. Here’s a little background on each of our team members – who they are and what they’re about …
BBT Leadership Coach Connie joined the BBT team as a Leadership Coach in the fall of 2014. She is passionate about developing leaders through the BBT Leadership Flywheel. Connie’s teaching and mentoring background, and business experience uniquely equip her to pour into BBT Group Leaders. In addition to her responsibilities as a BBT Leadership Coach, Connie is an insurance consultant at Benson Financial Group. Previously, she served as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Hannibal-LaGrange University, where she graduated with her B.S.E. She and her husband, Pat, live in Hannibal, MO, where they serve various community organizations, as well as support missions in Haiti, Guatemala, and Uganda. Connie and Pat are active members of the Second Baptist Church in Bowling Green, MO, and have one daughter.
BBT Leadership Coach Through his involvement as a BBT participant and leader, and his passion for the mission of helping people apply Biblical principles at work, God added Brian to the BBT team in January, 2013. As a BBT Leadership Coach, Brian’s focus is on growing BBT through developing Group Leaders to lead “on the flywheel.” Brian, a Certified Public Accountant, was previously the President of Bredensteiner & Associates, P.C., in St. Charles, MO. He has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis, and is actively involved in the St. Charles community serving as a board member for various professional organizations. Brian and his wife, Ann, are life-long St. Charles residents, where they are active members of Immanuel Lutheran Church. They have been married since 1993 and have three children.
Communications Director Lori joined the BBT team in February, 2016, but her journey to BBT started eight years ago, working with Brandon in commercial real estate. Through Brandon’s leadership, her unique skillset, and BBT group involvement, her knowledge in business development and marketing translates well to growing the mission and vision of BBT while supporting the team with group leader growth. She brings more than 10 years of marketing, business development, and brand awareness experience to BBT from her previous roles at Cushman & Wakefield, the University of Missouri, Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, and entrepreneurship.
Lori earned a Bachelor of Science Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Missouri. In her spare time, outside of family and work, she volunteers her time with several professional and community organizations in St. Louis. She and her husband, Kory, have one young son.
BBT Leadership Coach Bob is responsible for working closely with our Biblical Business Training (BBT) Group Leaders to help grow and sustain them as communities. He is focused on developing and sharing best practices, answering Group Leader questions, and providing coaching on how to be the best Group Leader possible.
Bob retired from Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals in 2008, where he was a senior-level manager in the oncology division for 27 years. He is devoted to challenging others in their walk with Jesus and learning to apply the Bible’s precepts in every area of life. Bob graduated from Taylor University and received his M.A. from Ball State University. Bob and his wife, Carolyn have two children and three grandchildren.
Curriculum Editor God added Sarah to the BBT team officially in January, 2013, but she prayed, along with Brandon’s wife, Lisa, for years before it even existed. Her many different responsibilities with BBT have evolved into her current role as the Curriculum Editor. She has worked in the corporate world and has also been a small-business owner. She understands the differences in the dynamics of those environments, and loves how BBT curriculum applies to both. Sarah is a graduate of Truman State University with a double major in Business Management and Psychology. She lives with her husband, Jason, and three daughters in Cape Coral, Florida where they are active members of New Hope Presbyterian Church.
Executive Director and CEO Following Christ’s calling, Brandon founded BBT in early 2009 and became the full-time Executive Director in January 2011. He is responsible for the overall ministry strategy, organizational leadership, and fundraising efforts.
Prior to BBT, Brandon served as Senior Vice President & Principal, Strategic Business Development at Cassidy Turley. During his 14-year tenure, Brandon was the youngest Principal and member of the Board of Directors in the firm’s history. Prior to his transition to BBT, Brandon served on the executive team merging several leading commercial real estate companies with Colliers Turley Martin Tucker to form Cassidy Turley in 2010 – making it one of the largest global real estate firms. Brandon graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri in 1994, with a double major in Finance & Banking, and Real Estate. In 1996, he completed the MBA program there, and was recognized as the Outstanding Finance MBA by the faculty. Brandon is an active community leader and serves on several boards. He is married to his high-school sweetheart, Lisa. They are blessed with three children.
