2 Timothy
This sample is taken from the BBT-Christianity Today volume, “2 Timothy: Finish the Race” curriculum. (Adapted with permission from Christianity Today’s SmallGroups.com Bible study of the same title.) In this powerful, personal letter from Paul to Timothy as he awaits his execution, Paul attempts to pull together the wisdom of a lifetime of service to God. He is in essence leaving his legacy for Timothy. Legacy emphasizes the expectation that you should be developing other leaders, not just followers. The nuggets contained in this book were forged in the crucible of life threatening experiences, but they point to the hope that belongs to all of us in Christ.
