BBT's current leadership team is continuing the mission of the organization created by the founder more than 10 years ago. A group of individuals came together at work to study how to apply Biblical principles from the greatest leadership book ever written, the Bible. Those leaders had the strength to take action and the courage to take the risk (Joshua 1:9) of applying their faith at work.

Today, the leadership team has the grace to admit the mission and vision of BBT is bigger than us. God has a plan for the organization, the leaders forming groups, and the groups meeting together in His name. BBT is simply the medium for the plan.

To build and grow God's Kingdom, we are fulfilling the plans He reveals to us through:

• Expanding the BBT Team
• Engaging church communities
• Exploring new curriculum sources

The Leadership Flywheel allows for grace in meeting people where they are. Whether you are learning, living out what you learn, ready to lead, or investing in others to leave a legacy for the Lord, there is a place for everyone with BBT.

The pastors and leaders of Missouri's United Methodist Church Mid-State District have a lofty goal of starting 500 missional small groups by 2022. Recently, they learned how BBT can be a tool for them as they seek to equip and empower people to go outside the walls of the church and meet people where they are. Click here to learn more.

This stand-alone lesson reminds us that we are meant to do more than just learn about God's Word. We are commanded by Jesus Himself, to live out what we are learning.

Community doesn't just happen around a table in an office or coffee shop. Jenny Clark is planning to take community on the road, with her new BBT group, Bible Bikers.

Most weeks, Jenny takes part in three group rides along the Katy Trail, which crosses Missouri from Kansas City to St. Louis. After hearing a presentation from BBT staff, she had the idea of adding Bible study to the community and fellowship of the cyclists.

The group rides one way down the trail, then before turning back, stops for a rest, food, and conversation. Jenny's idea to have a Bible study during this stop allows the group members to continue the conversation as they ride back to their starting point.

Due to spotty phone service on the trail, she will open the lesson PDF on her phone before leaving for the ride, and record prayer requests on her notes app.

Jenny notes that people are always visiting and talking about their lives on the ride; therefore, she hopes to bring the conversation to deeper faith and community.
